Frisco has so many opportunities for recreation; it's been called the sports mecca of North Texas! With many community and neighborhood parks, walking trails, and ponds stocked with fish, there is no shortage of outdoor activities. The City of Frisco manages about 40 park sites totaling 1,369 acres that are open from sun up to sun down. The city also owns more than 744 acres of undeveloped land for future projects. Frisco even has its own water park complete with slides, gushing water towers, and a large lagoon.

The Stonebriar Centre is a large shopping mall with many retail and dining options as well. Frisco is nurturing its growing arts community with a public art trail, and educating about its rich history with the Frisco Heritage Museum, Museum of the American Railroad, or the National Videogame Museum.

Schools in Frisco feed into Frisco ISD, which is also one of the most attractive features of the neighborhood. One of the highest ranked school systems in the country, Frisco ISD keeps their student-teacher ratio low, and their campuses use the latest technology.
